Our Story
About Rime Roofing & Exteriors | Utah Roofers
Built on trust, innovation, and lasting performance, redefining roofing across Utah.
Our Story
Fix what other roofers overlooked.
Rime Roofing & Exteriors began with a simple mission: fix what other roofers overlooked. Founder Joshua Powers built the company on craftsmanship, honesty, and doing the job right the first time, after seeing too many Utah roofs fail early, not from bad shingles, but from poor ventilation and rushed workmanship.
Today, Rime delivers precision-built systems that perform in Utah's climate. From RimeFlow ventilation to RimeBrite lighting, every project is designed to last, look great, and make your home more efficient.

Founder
Joshua Powers, Owner and CEO
Joshua founded Rime around one idea: fix what other roofers overlooked. He kept seeing Utah roofs replaced the same way they failed, with rushed installs, mismatched vents, and attics nobody bothered to measure. Rime was built to do the opposite.
Ventilation is where he spends the most time. Intake at the eaves has to balance exhaust at the ridge, and getting that math right is what lets a roof reach its full service life. Every Rime project starts with that assessment, not an upsell after the fact.
He is just as committed to helping homeowners understand the insurance process. Rime does not negotiate claims on your behalf. The claim is yours, and every decision stays with you. What Joshua and the team do is document the damage, meet your adjuster, and walk you through the estimate line by line so you know exactly what you are approving.
